Our Story: Built on a Better Idea
Wellcore was founded in 2006 by three partners who shared a common frustration: custom home construction in Toronto was either too expensive, too disorganized, or both. Families who wanted a home tailored to their needs were forced to choose between high-end luxury builders or unreliable independents with no single point of accountability.
Our founders believed there was a better way. By combining decades of expertise across design, construction, and project management - and keeping all three disciplines in-house - they built a system that makes custom home building accessible, transparent, and stress-free for everyday GTA homeowners.
Since then, Wellcore has designed and built over 500,000 sq. ft. of living space for 150+ families across Toronto and surrounding municipalities.

Armed with a York University degree in economics and 20+ years in the industry, Alex keeps budgets on track and homeowners informed at every step. Natalia — Lead Architectural Designer
With 20+ years in construction project management, residential design, and building planning, Natalia heads our design team. She has completed 200+ house design projects, obtained 200+ building permits, and successfully passed 150+ Committee of Adjustment hearings. Aleksandr — Head of Construction
Aleksandr brings 40+ years of field experience in residential home building.
